Make vs. Do

Hi guys! I'm sure that you have ever heard these words, which are often confused.

Make
Usually used when somebody talk about creating or building something..
      The Princess' wedding dress was made by a famous fashion designer.
                                                                make
There are some expressions often used with make.
make an appointment - make a decision - make a mistake - make a phone call
make a promise - make an effort - make progress - make money
make an excuse - make friends - make a trip - make a suggestion
    make a photocopy - make a plan - make a noise - make a mess

Do
This verb is often used when you talk about jobs and work.
      I do an English course and I do a part time job.
         do                                    do
There are some expressions often used with do.
do business - do exercise - do a course - do homework
do work - do sport - do the shopping - do sb a favour
do your best!

Remember❗
When you talk about creating or building something, you make it. While, if you talk about jobs or work, you do something .
