Other vs. Another

Other
This word is a determiner used to refer to the second of two people or things, which is not the one you already have or the one you already have mentioned.
      Have anyone taken my other pen?
                                                other + singular
This determiner is used to refer to people or things that are additional or different to people or things that have been mentioned or are known about.
      Have you any other questions?
                                  other + plural noun
Also, you can use other to refer to the thing that is opposite you, furthest from you, or moving away from you.
      It's allowed to park on the other side of the street.
                                                     other + singular 
Others is a plural pronoun meaning 'other people or things', so it replaces 'other ones'.
      I have others.
                        others (=other ones)

Another
This word refers to an extra or different one.
      I bought this book and I got another completely free at the book fair.
                                                            another
      Could you come back another time, please?
                                                  another + singular

Additionally, another is used with the name of a well-known person, thing, event, etc. to mean someone or something else that is similar because they have the same good or bad qualities.
      There'll never be another Princess Diana.
                                          another + name of a famous person/thing/event/etc.

Remember❗
When you refer to the second of two things or people, you use other.
If you to talk about additional or different people or things that have been mentioned; use thi word, too.
Also, use this determiner in case you refer to something that is opposite you.
While, when you talk about an extra or different thing, person, etc.; you say another.
This word is used with a name of somebody or something famous when somebody or something else has similarities in some way with them.
