Mate
This is the most common informal 🇬🇧 way to say friend.

Buddy
🇺🇸👨👩 use this word to refer to a friend in an informal way.
    Mario's going out with some buddies this weekend.

Pal
This one is an old-fashioned way to say friend.
    Hi, pal. Long time no see you.

The girls
The girls Is the informal way 👨👩 call a woman's female friends.
    I spent amazing days with the girls in the countryside.

The lads
Men use this expression to refer to their male friends.
    I'm going out with the lads.

Bestie
Use this 🇬🇧 word for calling your best friend in a quite informal way.
    I love you, bestie.
