Chance vs. Opportunity

Hi guys❗ I'm sure that you have ever heard these words, which sometimes are confused.

The possibility that something will happen.

*Be with a chance means have a possibility.

Opportunity
The occasion when a situation makes it possible to do something or something happen.
     Sophie has the opportunity to travel to Lima; so we're viviting Caral.
                  have the opportunity to + infinitive
*Caral is the oldest centre of civilization in the Americas.


Remember❗
We say chance to refer to the possibility that something happen.
We use the noun opportunity to mean the time when a situation makes something possible to happen.
