This adjective is connected with the trade, industry and development of an area, country, etc., or the management of 💰.
Before having a car you have to analise its economic aspects.

Also, we can use 'economic' as a synonym of profitable.
Letting rooms to tourists is longer economic.

Economical
This word can be used as a synomyn of cheap.
↳ more + economical + than + sth/doing sth
You could be more economical in the money you spend for food.

Using an electric car is more economical than using an petrol one.↳ economical + in + sth

When we want to talk about the wealth of people or the trade, industry and develop of an area, we use the adjective economic.
While, we use economical as a synonym of cheap.
