Hi guys❗ I'm sure that you've said this word many times. Do you use phrasal verbs with 'let'

If you don't. Well, I'll tell you some of them. Let's begin❗

Let (sb) down
To disappoint or fail to help or support 👨👩 when expected or necessary.
    Ryan let her 💕👩 down. He did a runner after their 👶 was born.

Let (sb) off (sth)
To permit 👨👩 not to do something.
     The 🇬🇧 teacher let us off homework.
                                       let (sb) off (sth)

Let on (to sb)
To tell 👨👩 a secret.
     Robert writes a 📘 but don't let on to anyone.
                                                        let on + to + sb

Let up
To become less strong.
     The pain in his 💪 finally let up
                                                   let up

      The 👦👧 wish the 🌧 would let up.
                                                       let up
